I’ve been wondering....is this something that happens only for man-to-man meets? Somebody chats to you about meeting and you both want it...and then suddenly they stop chatting to you. And after sometime they chat to you again. And it turns out that they had stopped chatting to you because somebody else had come over and they copped off....(to make it clear, they only clarify after you asked them ‘why’, not of their own volition). So, is it acceptable? Just so you know, I’m not ranting, I want to know the etiquette on that.

It is an NSA/swinging site. So it's not like you're in a committed relationship with them.

However, if someone wasn't polite enough to let me know what was going on I'd probably drop my interest.
