Always makes us chuckle when we see all these legal notices on peoples profiles.. If you are someone who has this what exactly are you trying to achieve?

"i wonder how many have sued lol. !!"

I always wonder which country the people with the warnings plan to take their 'legal action' in.

After all the 'inter' in Internet means 'international'.

Hmmm not what the Americans think is it!

Hasn't there just been a case in the last couple of days of a guy from the UK being extradited for an internet issue?

I love the ones that say

"Anyone wishing to use our photos for a project, feel free, after all they are bloody good"

Made me laugh when I first saw it, and lets be real you'll probably never know

No it's not.

Back in the 1970s, when networks like ARPA net were in their infancy, the idea that you could connect networks across a wide area using packet switching was leading edge, and needed the qualifier of 'interconnected networks' since most networks weren't interconnected, and couldn't be interconnected because of the variations in standards and protocols.

We always laugh at the Sydney university thing! Always imagine there being a faculty of wife swapping where men in lab coats observe swingers in action to try and provide evidence of its relevance to modern living! Lol xxx

It just demonstrates a naive understanding of the Internet! Basically its not Sydney University (if it exists) But other more malicious people and groups that do operate across the internet that people should be worried about.

Its quite clear never post anything online be it a comment or your name or a photo etc if you want to retain full control over it.... and I would say the same about any Social Networking website as well.

I like the Sydney university comments

It helps vet out who not to meet lol

If they are daft enough just to copy something just cus some other strangers tell them to then I don't want to meet them x

"Always makes us chuckle when we see all these legal notices on peoples profiles.. If you are someone who has this what exactly are you trying to achieve? "

If you read the FAQ it states that the legal notice that some people put on their profile are a waste of time and space and are useless

"We require and give complete discretion. We have no pictures due to our work and will only meet validated people"

And then they threaten some unknowns with full on "Legal Ramifications"? Bit laughable really! Kinda says something about the people who use it, I suppose!

If you read the FAQ's...

Admin ask that you remove them as it takes up space on server...

Do when I see them on profiles...
