Hospital visits / pubic hair

If you have a hospital visit lined up and the pubic area will be on show, would you remain shaved/waxed or grow back hair to help with possible embarrassment issues.

There and to the left a bit

Why would there be embarassment issues? Doctors and nurses have seen it all and aren't going to be in the slightest bit fazed when confronted with no pubic hair especially in this day and age when it's so common.

The only thing they are interested in is diagnosing/treating the problem not whether you have hair or not.

Trust me, having just recently been in hospital, there was nothing I was embarrassed about. All I was concerned about was being well and getting home. The nurses and doctors couldn’t give a fuck about whether I was waxed or not, they take a far more professional approach to their jobs.

I don’t think they’ll care, I know you’re thinking of it as something you do in connection with swinging but they’ve seen it all and won’t immediately think of it the way you would .

Do what makes you comfortable. If it’s making you nervous, let it grow.

I usually have pubic hair. When I go for routine gynae checks I often wonder how many people they see with pubic hair nowadays. I suspect and indeed hope that the professionals are concentrating on the task in hand.

I had a vaginal hysterectomy last year and I shaved completely the night before, I was more concerned about the operation than them seeing my bald lady garden.

In the 50s and 60s women were routinely shaved before childbirth.

I had surgery last year and they needed to make an incision in my pubic area. I shaved what I thought was enough and woke to find they had shaved the extra bit they had needed to remove.

Trust me a surgeon/dr has seen most things so I’m sure a bit of hair won’t cause them any concern

Really this is a question? Docs and nurses see different body parts in all shapes and sizes bald or natural so it's not really anything to be concerned about mate on the other hand though good luck with what ever you're going to the hospital for though

I'm not always fully shaved but I always make sure I am before I go for any appointments where they'll be going down there.

I just feel the need to be really neat before a stranger sees my bits.

Not totally true otherwise we wouldn’t have hair there. In woman a high number of uti are caused by when having sex any bacteria or viruses are easier passed or pushed in to the urethra causing infection as the hair isn’t there to protect the “opening”

There have been a few medical studies based upon pubic hair and what it’s purpose is

It’s not an issue, it’s not an embarrassment it’s your hair do as you please.

If FGM Is noticed, a referral is made.

Recently went to docs to check on the extent of my hernia. (Mr).

She (Dr) didn’t seem too surprised to see my cock and balls were shaven and pubes neatly trimmed.

Just routine stuff for them I guess.

We don't care whether you're hairy, trimmed, bald, have it plaited or coloured, have piercings, long or short lips, little or big cock . . . The only probable thing we'd have concern for is FGM

So don't worry people- you ain't nothing we haven't seen before!

When I had a testicle removed in my late 20's, I had to shave everything off from the abdomen down to the tops of my thighs.

The fully shaven cock is not a good look, it looks like the last Christmas turkey at Tesco'severyone had a feel and put it back.

Add to the embarrassment of the day after the op, 14 medical students having a nose around as well.

Funny though, I was more interested in the amount of pain I was in to worry a great deal how I looked.

These days most males aged 22-60, usually if they are socially and physically active and not massively overweight tend to be trimmed or shaved. I’m more surprised to see a mass of hair than I am to see a well kept pubic region.

Just ask your healthcare professional if you need to? Depends if you are getting some procedure done or its just some check up? If it's just about being shy about being natural.. dont!
