In my eyes your boss is way over the line " States black trousers, mine are black trousers but a soft material, more comfortable as it’s lots of physical work but apparently they look like leggings! We should get a verbal then a written but I never got a verbal as when she mentioned it before she never asked me to get new ones she just rolled her eyes at me, got called in today and said I have to get new ones and it’s a written warning | |||

If it doesn’t, I would suggest this is a matter of personal choice and certainly not a disciplinary offence. A quiet chat as suggested above should have been sufficient. Sounds like overkill to me." Iv just looked through both handbooks and neither even say black trousers!! Just says a uniform will be provided, we get our tunics but just got told black trousers, no leggings or jeans but doesn’t state a specific style and the handbooks don’t even say black trousers so I will take this with me tomorrow | |||
