Have you told friends you swing?

We have told a few as if we are on a social meet with a guy we don't want them to be shocked if I have a sneaky kiss with the guy. The response has been positive & they are curious as to the lifestyle. At our local pubs the staff know what we do & are great. At times if we are on our own they ask us if we will be having company...however we are careful if we see work colleagues...that's a different thing altogether.

A few of our best friends know. They're non-judgmental, some have asked what we actually do but we don't go into details other than say swapping partners.

Nope. I've been caught out though by a family member. But it's cool we laugh about it and go on meets together for mmf sometimes (the family member is a Male cousin)

I have a friend who knows, she is the one I tell when I’m meeting new people as my safety measure. Other than that I think the world would be shocked

I am pretty open about it, would like to pretend my sister and parents don’t know but I’m guessing they probably do.

Some. But those guys are on the fetish scene, so it's just like saying "so, I'm going to this different club now, you should come along to the social and see the dungeon, it's amazing"

Genrally not, apart from freinds on the scene obvisoly. I have a couple of close freinds who know. It's not something I'm ashamed of (quite the opposite) but my sexual exploits are my private buisness.

My friends know. The way I told them wasn’t the best.

I was bored at a dinner party, of hearing about my friends wife thinking she was wild in bed. My friend had fucked her in front of a mirror which led her to believe she had the best sex life on that table. I told her how vanilla she actually was and that she can speak about her “wild sex life” again until she has taken two or more cocks at the same time. Stunned silence and an awkward hug when I left but it was worth it.

We’ve not told anyone but we do wonder which of our friends might also be! We recon even if some of our friends are swingers, they’d be shocked that we are, so really we can’t rule anyone out

There should be a phrase that changes monthly that you could drop into conversation to see if your friends react. Maybe something like “orange bananas “ - something totally non sexual but something you’d never just say... it should change monthly though or word would get out...

Couple of friends know and are fully supportive. It's safer for me this way. I don't use them for debrief as such... just its nice to know you have people around with who you don't have to 'wear a mask'.

My bestie knows - shes not surprised either

She doesn't know the nitty gritty but she knows that I used to have a thing going with a couple.

I think she thinks I'm poly - which is actually something that appeals to me

A few of our friends know, a few of our colleagues know.

I've found that generally, I wish they didn't. Some family eventually found out and I hate that. People tend to make assumptions on our marriage and I really feel uncomfortable being around the family that know, especially if they crack jokes.

That's just me ha ha.

Not ones I wouldn’t want to bring onto the scene. I have told a few I went to a party where it turned into an orgy to test the water. They were all ‘get in’ ‘good lad’ ... etc. I suggested they come to the next... the excuses flowed faster then Victoria falls.

It’s best to keep it separate imho - I have swing friends and regular friends. Rare it crosses over. Great when it does. My local club was like a pub to me. I can’t go so much anymore which is a shame.

We generally keep our lives separate, but inevitably there are a couple of friends who we've grown close enough to know we won't feel the wrath of dissaproval from & so we've opened up more to them.

We do find however we have fuckbuddies and friends. If a fuckbuddy becomes too much of a friend then it complicates things a bit too much for us. I think we're just after fantasy fun & want to keep real life far away.
