There was a thread earlier asking if verified accounts can be fake and I think we all agree it’s common.

Can we share ways to spot fake accounts? Sometimes we get chatting and the account is well verified and you go down a chain of verifications so seems like everyone is real.

But then you keep chatting and just feel the account seems fake.

Photos too perfect. Always the guy online and he always wants to chat. Deflects when we discuss actually meeting.

What are other things you notice?

I always find people who ask for kik straight away or ask for more pictures are fantasists and people that won't meet.

Only real way is seeing and talking live on camera, I will not meet anyone without doing this. It only takes a minute on KIK, no excuses. I have seen a reduction in messages since I put this on profile but that is fine by me, taking no chances

We've found sometimes that the messages from couples start off making our they're the woman, then quickly get filthy, I'll (mrs) will just say that there's no way a woman would talk like that, especially to someone she's never met.

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

If their photos seem like they’re mostly ‘facebook’ type photos, they probably are

Not at all kik is just easier to chat on. Especially when single females get 100’s of messages a day.

We have good recent pictures but we are new to the site with no meet verifications i think that puts loads of people off thinking we are fake which is a shame but understandable We have managed to chat to a few wonderful people on here and kik though.

We where actually surprised how polite and helpful people are.

Then again we had a few people message us asking for face pictures straight away and that puts us off.

I disagree, everytime someone has asked for my kik early on, they have then asked for more pics, videos, phone sex etc, then when I refuse they either go silent immediately or arrange a meet then go silent. This is pretty much 100% of the time in that situation.

We are not here long and in the time we have been here we have seen a few accounts that we definitely feel are fake.

we are getting asked for face pics right off the bat and if we say we can send live pic or cam on kik alot (not all) will decline.

Some couple we found say they looking to meet but really just want to cam or swap pics witch is completely fine but just say that on ur profile.its abit of a waste of time for the other couple.

As I say we are fairly new here so only going off what we have seen so far.and we are not saying every couple here is as we have chatted with some really nice couples

Hopefully we will find the right couple for us and happy fabbing all

Don't accept friend invites.

Chat but don't engage in sexy chat.

Book a social (or meet if that's your style) asap.

Can honestly say we've never had a problem with fakes.

We like to chat on kik and we are 100% real.we like to see lce pic and know there is a couple on the other. And we can chat with a couple as a group there also

I have seen some horrendous Photoshop on profiles. I don't know why people get so wound up on here. I only meet at gay saunas. If someone wants to meet me I let them know when I am at the sauna. If we don't click then no problem I have someone else to preoccupy me. All well meeting at someone's house but the cleanliness of that house is out of my control. Then you get those wanting you to pay for the hotel. Quite tiresome.

just ask the feamle to hide her number, call your voicemail and leave any kind of message.

It's not foolproof - but it does get rid of the fakes early.

The usual reply is "she can't talk right now" - to which I say " she can leave any kind of garbled message anytime shortly"

Usually goes quiet.

Guys pretending to be fems or couples gets us guys a bad rep.

Photos that look like they've come straight out of a top shelf magazine are a dead giveaway.

Not talking about people who have paid for a photo shoot though.

I'm also wary of the same few statuses on a constant loop.

In our experience, it’s usually the people that launch into ‘dirty talk’ immediately and want to go straight to the likes of kik pretty sharpish as well. We’re not here for some romantic date per se but what’s wrong with a little conversation and slow seduction maybe?

I can always soot the copied from porn pics , and generally (should do after 6 years) spot the fake accounts

I’m a cruel bitch tho and play them along cat and mouse style til I destroy them

I like to reverse image their pics and then ask them what nice pics they have and are they recent. I then say thats interesting they have been online since 2012 and send them a screen shot of the internet search of 'their' image

We disagree as said on this thread there is people verifying other for no reason so they mean nothing but at least if we all show a live pic or cam on kik we know there is a couple on the other side so for us kik is the best way to find out for ourselves not take other word for it

One of the red flags for us is a lady or couple with a short profile that have been on months with not so much as a photo verification. “Fill in later” and they haven’t after say, a month. It’s nit fool proof and there will always be exceptions to the rule. We photo verified ourselves within a day or two and have a number of verifications on display as well as some pics. If a profile is relatively “empty” we’d be cautious..

Would never agree to this. If people can't work out that a couple is genuine from their veris then that is their issue. Bit of a difference between the fake veri profiles and the multiple veri profiles that are verified by well verified people.

A direct picture is great but if you don't want to show face just yet, then hold A4 sheet of paper in front with phrase requested by the profile holder and if couple both can do it!

Hey preseto you can see real at least but then it's whether face matches body.

Have used this a few times and still waiting for the photos so surprise, surprise not in contact with them lol

If we think its a fake we just leave it alone. We try to minimise the chances so if it doesnt feel right to us we dont proceed. Its not worth the risk to us

It’s strange how different people are have different methods and ways of going about things. No one is right and no one is wrong I suppose.

We like to move to Whatsapp as soon as we can to be honest. A group chat with 4 people and 4 mobile numbers. And you can chat on WhatsApp much more discretely than logging into Fab when you’re at work or have kids around which helps move things along quicker for us.
