how much do you take word of mouth about other people ?? on the net i take it with a pinch of salt as we know some people just like to cause problems but friends and face to face (swinging wise) how do you take it ?? do you tell friends who youve had a bad experience with some one or pushy and rude people ?? i tend to try and not listen but just lately some ive been warned about are showing there true selves ... so do you listen and take note or do you just follow your own path ??

If someone tells me bad stuff about a person I don't believe it. I'd rather find out for myself unless there's definite proof that they're an axe murderer of course

At the end of the day a meet is a two (or more) way thing. Give off the wrong vibe yourself & it will affect your interaction with that person.

You then tell your friends they were 'Off' or whatever..and so it starts..

I think I would take it into consideration but still reserve judgment myself. If I trusted the person who told me more than the person they told me about, I would be more likely to listen.

There’s just too many factors. If someone told me something very shocking though, like regarding consent etc I would definitely listen.

The problem with this as I see it is that what one person sees in someone may be different to anothers.

I know from my work life that I have people that I do not get on with, who get on with others fine and vice versa; its a personality thing and that is work where there is no actual intimate interaction; so move that on into swinging and sex and surely it is more likely that someone may fine a person different to another.

there are things about people that would put me off meeting them but not others, so unless it was someone I knew very well and could ask them what and why then I would probably ignore the comments and find out for myself.

(and no doubt be told ' I told you so' if it went wrong).

here there everywhere

It would all depend on who was telling us this info. We all have people we trust so if it wasnt someone in the close circle would take it with a pinch of salt.

Always make our own decision / opinion but would have any negative comments at the back of our minds.
