Hi folks,

I wonder what peoples worst experiences of using Fab are? Has anyone had a real nightmare experience on here?

I have to say my experience has been mostly great except for the one lady I met who completely lied about her age / looks and kicked off like a lunatic when I queried it. Needless to say, I didn't spend much time in her company!

So what about you? Have you also had a less than desirable encounter or something all together more ugly?

People who put on their profiles they are non smokers and when I turn up, not only smoke, they are doing other things with Jamaican Gold Blend and so on. It was a horrible meet.

Ive only had the one bad experience when i met with a guy who lied about his age . He told me he was 32 but when i met him knew straight away he was much younger ! He was actually only 25 and when i asked him why he lied he said he thought i wouldnt have met him if he told me the truth . He was right there because it clearly states on my profile i have age restrictions . It was a total waste of my time and made a quick exit when he turned round to me and said i should feel flattered that such a young and fit guy such as himself was taking an interest in me !

Why is it that some people get funny when u mention colour of skin just the same as myself being called a fat cow or fat bitch, or someone who wears glasses specky or four eyes, or people with big teeth goofy etc, my brother is black as u quote and as he's grown up he's been called lot of racist names but never let it get to him coz he knows if they didn't pick on colour of his skin it be another thing,.

was told at work by service users that it was ok for them to say it but not for us to say it . I told the service users that I found it offensive and racist and wouldnt stand for it being said around me.

Because they claim they are re-claiming the word from the racists. By using it themselves they are making it ok to be spoken. Although if a non black person uses it all hell breaks loose. Dont get it. But I also know the majority if black people still find it repulsive and offensive, and it is. Might start calling everyone c**t and claim I'm desensitising it lol.

Is this really confusing for people? Black people can 'reclaim' the N word, use it themselves, whatever, and are free not to be offended by its use in such context. However, a white person using the word will always have the association of using a word that has been part of a lexicon of hatred and oppression for hundreds of years, towards black people by white people.

Whether white people think it's 'fair' or not to be unable to use a word without causing offence is irrelevant. It does cause offence, and probably always will, so just accept the fact. it's not an effort not to use it, surely?

This isn't directed at the poster who quoted it, of course. It's obvious that it was a quote, and an example of what a horrible person his club guest was.

I love the one where they get offended by something you 'never' said and cancel meet at last minute. My fave was a women who I had chatted with for hours then we agreed to meet as she was only 20 mins away and we was getting in great. She gave her address and I set off. En route I had to stop and by some condoms. I messaged her and told her I was stopping for condoms and asked if she wanted anything like wine or beer.
