Female chastity devices

I am thinking about creating a lockable chastity cage for Suzie, in 'steampunk' style to match her collar, and with a metal waistband and crutchstrap.... does any woman or her Dom on Fab have experience of short long term wear of one? Are there any issues I should know about? Her collar is practical, heavy, and suitable for long term wear and I'd like the cage to match it.

I've used shop bought female chastity devices and in all honesty I found them so uncomfortable and virtually impossible to wear and actually move in them. Bordering on painful at times.

So I got labia piercings done, and if i wear rings in them I can be padlocked shut and it's super comfortable and I've spent a few weeks at a time in chastity that way.

Good luck in your build, there definitely needs to be a better product out there than those available!

Thanks, very helpful. As far as the waistband is concerned, I am sure I can make it both secure and comfortable, since Suzie has a well defined waist. The problem seems to lie with the crutch strap. It needs to be wide enough to block off access front and back with legs apart, and prevent fingering without permission, but this means it may rub when the legs are together.

Yep it was the crutch strap I found uncomfortable and painful, the waist wasn't an issue, I also tried one that had plugs attached to small thin bar that sat between the lips, the bar was comfortably wearable however, the plugs pinched and caught where they joined the bar if that makes sense?

Oh, I see. I had been thinking about providing padlocked flaps or bars front and back, but front and back plugs and a central bar would seem to be a good approach; it must be possible to prevent pinching. I could also provice a 'skirt' on the top of the front plug to prevent playing.

I think the issue with the one I had was the plugs screwed into the bar, and that's where they pinched, if they were tailor made to fit your partner, then I'm guessing they could be soldered and therefore parent the pinch. Obviously ones you buy are a one size kinda deal.

I'm sure you'll come up with a solution!
