Damn Amazon

Mid Wiltshire

Ordered the wife a few birthday presents from Amazon, and just got home and missed delivery, but a couple were posted through the letter box and one in the recycling bin.

Sadly, one of the parcels isn't addressed to me - its about 3 roads away and the address is nothing alike.

Whats worse, is the jewelled butt-plug she mentioned is the missing parcel..... (Amazon tracking shows it was supposed to be "delivered" at the same time)

Oh joy. You know the conversation to come...… "Hello amazon, yes, you know that butt plug, well its got lost. no - not up there...…."

Off to visit the other people to see if they have it....

So how did it go ? Did the other person was trying it when you knocked at the door ?

No - her parcel was totally innocent - though I did cringe when she openned it in front of us. She had nothing for us.

Not contacted Amazon yet, hoping the driver will find it loitering in their van and deliver it today.

Otherwise it will be embarrassing lol

That was a bit of a non event!

Online chat with no smut, embarrassing looks or comments, and the promise of a replacement package tomorrow.

I am looking at the neighbours seeing if any of them nicked it (though they are between 76 and 98 so probably not - they all walk wobbly anyway!)

I once had an order from Lovehoney delivered to my work, except the package went missing somewhere in the building for days...we shared the building with several other charities.

Luckily I managed to track it down 3 days later, just before it had been opened by the chaplaincy
