So a random act of kindness on my part on Thursday, I take in for the night two homeless people (brother and sister) around 28 - 30. The most hopeless homeless, dumb and dumber.

Anyway, gets back to mine, and she asks about cheap sanitary towels, I pull a face as I don't use them, but offer tampons, she turns me down, because she's still a virgin!

Surely inserting a tampon is not going to take away your virginity?!

Oh btw, the pair had never sent an email or been on facebook etc. A weird pair, I think very vulnerable but they've gone now.

Some cultures believe that the hymen should be broken and bleed as a show of virginity. As tampons can break the hymen...some girls wont use them.
