you look at profiles and have a good wank and carry on dreaming/wishing

or

you look at profiles. see if they match what you are looking for and vise versa, send them a message and wait

or

Haha, it's a subtle nuance, but as Sally suggests, a lot of guys just think it's a quick route to some NSA sex. You've got to be prepared to jump through a few hoops and role-play to a certain extent... If you rock up hoping to fill your boots, and tick your bucket list, it's not usually going to work.

For me, the best way to describe it is that couples who do this are my kink - you need to be into the process as much as the sex, and you need to be able to read the couple and go along with what they're hoping for.

However I would imagine that similar rules apply?

If you are bi, then I guess you'll need to be attracted to both him and her.

You'll need to agree the rules, catch their interest on messages and not let them down...

I agree with this to a certain extent but we always try to make sure that we're all after the same or at least similar things.

You make it sound like all couples want a 'pet' that will do as he's told - I guess some might be like that but others want it to be a more mutual thing whereby each have equal status.

I didn't mean it to sound like that, most of my experiences with couples have been first-timers so by the time we met, they'd done a lot of talking, fantasising etc... They've usually got a fairly good idea of what they want and how they want things to play out - as the 3rd wheel, you need to be able understand that and go with their flow...

At the end of the day, you're always going to be the 'new guy' in the scenario, so I think it would take a long time to feel like an equal part of the dynamic... That would be the dream though!!
