Hell, quite a few times I have had to ask somebody to repeat what they said because even I as a native scouser couldn't understand them through the accent.

There's different scouse accents. North and South Liverpool accents are slighty different , although i think you need to be a scouser to pick up on it

Although I would add that any really broad accent, brum or Geordie etc can sound a bit
