In two years I've not had a bad meet. I've had socials that have gone no further but even they've been interesting.

We’ve met lovely people and never had a bad meet. As someone else commented, we’ve had a couple of dodgy socials that never went further but in the main it’s been all good for us

When 5’10” on paper turns out to be a generous 5’4” in real life. Called him out on it. He stuck to him being 5’10”.

I looked down on him and reminded him I’m 5’6”...

over the time of being on year for about 5 years on and off had some awesome meets. Also if someone is not your thing I do not classify as bad, we just not meant to meet again for any fun.

I have met some people who have got married off here or in relationships although fab is not a dating site it does happen and all good for those that have.

Meets where they do not look like there photo has happened to me a few times.

Lately it is the time wasters who arrange a meet and do not show up.

What we have to remember is that fitting a meet in can be very hard for us all because of whatever reasons normally wife or kids or work.

I've had a few socials where we didn't click but I don't mind that. I did have one that was just horrible and humiliating I almost left here after it. My own fault for breaking rules and going to his house for a social I'll never do that again. But I've also had a couple of good meets that have led to fun so I guess it evens out.

Had a couple once,just having social drink down stairs before any fun(ice breaker) suddenly they started arguing/bickering at each other mid convo??, put me off completely,they left. hubby n me had fun together,cant waste the evening lol

When I first joined here I was stupid enough to arrange to meet a girl off here in a local cafe....I went there and waited for ages....I couldn't get a text reply off her so I left....I got home and recived a message saying....That my blue dress looked lovely on me and that I had eaten a tuna sandwich....I went to reply and my number had been blocked and I had been blocked by her/him? On here....The only person in that cafe was a man with a news paper....There's no way o would ever make that mistake again
