What do you mean by disabled. Disabled is one word that covers a million of things. Physically, mentally, in a wheelchair, on sticks, paraplygic, blind, deaf, dumb. You need to narrow it down somewhat

Many disabilities are hidden ie it's not obvious that the person is disabled.

My wife is disabled and it never stops us from having meets, some have been wonderful, we would meet a couple who's disabled.

For me it depends what the disability is. Blind? yes I'd meet, Deaf? yes I'd meet. A physical disability? maybe but probably not in all truth.

Well I am disabled but never felt it was necessary to publish the fact on my profile. It is a physical disablity but not visable and the only way it affects how I play is that there are some positions that I can't stay in for more thana couple of minutes.

As long as I found a person sexually attractive I don't think a disabilty would put me off playing.

If you can be sympatgetuc and considerate to the persons needs and limitations it shouldnt stop you. I used to meet a lady with a prosthetic leg who just wanted her sex life back to feel more complete and regain some confidence. I have to say there was very little she wouldnt attempt we just had to take things a bit slower

Yes me too I have a physial disability too but it doesnt affect my performance. I dont broadcast it to any of my meets as it is a private matter. If they cant handle it then its their problem not mine.

Surely it would depend on the disability. Some disabilities are deemed that the person is unable to make inform decision, so that's out...Unless a court/responsible person agrees that a bit of sex/swinging is beneficial to the person...

Some people profiles are so precise that there are probably only .002% of the World population that would meet their criteria.

It does depend on the disability. A blind or deaf person then yes no problem, physical disability I would have to think seriously about the level of that disability. If it was a disfigurement but no pain involved in that, scarring from burns etc, then maybe, but if people had spinal problems or anything which caused them pain, then no. I would worry that every little thing would hurt and I would constantly ask, so therefore that would take the enjoyment out of it for me.

If someone had a learning disability or suffered from mental illness, then no. Not because I hold any judgements in relation to mental health, but because it wouldn't sit comfortably with me that I may possibly be taking advantage of vulnerability. I would want to feel reassured that the sexual stimulus was not a symptom of any hyperactivity associated with some forms of mental illness.

If someone has learning disabilities or something like downs syndrome you would have to be very careful as you could be charged with clandestine rape if it susequently turns out that they are not capable of making the informed decision to have sex.

Mild disability, again it would depend on the disability. I wouldnt meet someone in a wheelchair because i meet at home and my home isnt wheelchair friendly, that is the main reason. If someone has a disability, but can meet my critera ie get to my house and im attracted to them then yes i would meet them.

As for mental disability that too comes in many shapes and forms

It would put us off, but not necessarily stop us. Due to a bad experience in the past we would need to be absolutely sure what the situation was.

Hubby had a meet with a couple where the woman was disabled. He said it was amazing - not because of the disability, he said that didnt really come into it. It was because the lady knew what worked for her due to her disability and was therefore very forthcoming with what she wanted and what she wanted him to do! He found her directing very sexy!

The above comment was not meant to upset any people with mental disabilities , I apologise if it came across like that .

Ok , the reason I posted this topic is because I live with a mild disability myself , nothing severe but enough to make me think twice about doing certain things and it can be restrictive and can affect the confidence . As mentioned by a previous poster I choose not to highlight this in my profile but would always let a potential meet know within the first few messages if I think a meet is likely , this is important to me as I would not want a potential meet to be dissapointed in any way if I had not mentioned it.

Again I will not mention my condition on this thread but if any of you are even slightly interested I would be happy to reply in a pm.

It might make a change from having an empty inbox lol

It depends on your definition of "disabled" the only disability that people face is of other peoples narrow minded prejudiced opinions.

Comments like "I've met a nice one" disgust me, there are lots of nice people in the world some of them have a disability, some of them dont, get over it.

You may have to think outside of the box, or try things differently for once in your life, is that too much like hard work? Seems so for a lot of people......

Oh and the issue of consent, if someone can't consent because of their disability, they are too d*unk or incapacitated through drugs, their partner is consenting on their behalf then don't go there, it's very clearly rape!

ive got to be honest i couldnt play with a blind person and i know my reasons will seem stupid to most but i wouldnt like the idea of playing with someone who may not be attracted to me if they could see me

I would so love to make a disabled person happy. I don't care what their disability is. I hate to think that someone is pining for sex and can't do it just because of prejudices.

But imagine that you made someone happy in that way and they fell in love with you and you didn't feel the same. Boy would you have a problem then and you would feel so selfish for taking your pleasure and leaving the person unhappy. Very good thread OP.

on sites like this we go on looks all the time, all because im on a sex site that does not mean i have to fuck everyone who asks and if i choose to not meet someone with a disability surely thats my choice?

we all get turned down for one reason or another that just how it goes on here

i never judge anyone on look, but that does not mean i want to get naked with them, but then i do not feel that turning someone down for sex because i feel we would not be compatable is judging someone

im not attracted to asian guys but im not judging a whole culture just because i dont wan t to have sex with them

I agree but all because someone is a war hero does not mean they are nice people, why would anyone want to have sex with someone just because they fought in a war? to be honest if i was a war hero id be offended if someone wanted to fuck me based on that

I wouldn't have sex with someone just because of that, I have sex with a hero when ever I want to anyways since my husband went to theatre a few times in his career. What I was trying to get at is if the person fits in the criteria of what they are looking for then it's all good. I wouldn't discriminate people due to physical disabilities, race, creed or religion its who I get along with and it's who I like.
