What's with the unicorns?

Seen a couple of comments and one post mentioning unicorns, what's that all about? I know I could Google it but it's easier to ask the fab hive mind. Is it some code for a sex act, code for a type of person?

Unicorns are supposed to be rare. Everyone on here is a Unicorn, ergo not rare, common as anything.

A unicorn traditionally in bdsm anyway means a single person dosent have to be female but without limits basically uo for anything. Hence rare as most have some sort of limitations x
