Sorry But Errrr.....................!

Following on from the Profile Pics thread.

As a couple with face pics on our profile people we have contact with know what we look like and vice versa.

So each couple know what they're getting and make their decisions based on that.

However,for those who don't have face pics on profile,for whatever reason,but who send them on request.......does it knock you back.......if after posting each other, maybe chatting on phone and apparently getting on........if they say thanks but no thanks after you've sent a pic?

We've seen how people handle giving rejection but how do they handle getting it.

i handle it quite well, im not everyones cup o tea so to speak!!!

i sent face pics to a couple who liked our profile, they wanted to meet us, then to be told sorry we wont be pursuing the meet, i said no problem.

didnt lose sleep over it!!!!!!!

sumtims face pics dont do people justice!!!

just the way it goes!!!

I have to admit I only have face pics in the friends gallery.

Not for reasons I have heard in the past but because we live in a small town where everyone bar us is related to each other!!So if people were to find out they would cause problems at the school for my kids and generally make trouble for us!!

Now as for sending face pics and being turned down after that well . . . . . I think its best to send the pics as soon as poss cos then if they dont like the way you look its easier to say no thanks.

I show my face on webcam as well to prove I am really female and that I do look like my pics even tho I wish I didnt lol

In all honesty I would rather be told sorry you aint what we/I am looking for than spend time getting to know people then be told ohh sorry didnt realise you have short hair we dont like that!!!

Being honest I think its the only way to deal with the thanks but no thanks - keep looking and trying.

For everyone who says no thanks there is someone who will say ohh yes please!!

To make they guys feel better I think at sometime we have all been told thanks but no thanks after seeing face pics I was told it just the other day . . . my response . . . go out and have fun with someone else

I just declined a gentleman after exchanging photos - he just does not appeal to me physically.

I have not been rejected based on photos yet. I would like to believe that's because (i) the gents are less fussy than ladies and (ii) I normally warn peeps in advance that I am lumpy everywhere!

a couple sent me a friend invite last wk so i accepted & thought il let them see me, left it 4 days so as not to seem pushy or that & mailed them saying hello & could i possibly have a pic of them, yes no problem they said, very nice said i & then they deleted me

i mean wtf lol

Ill send a face pic of us after a few mails just to save wasting time chatting to people only to find no-one likes the look of each other

We hav'nt been rejected on face pics yet but if we were its no big deal,theres got to be some attraction for all and as I don't do sympathy shags I would'nt expect anyone else to either

Totally agree, I like to see a face very early on in the conversation. Had a couple of instances early on where we would get into chatting and get on rather well, then you see a face and think ahhhhh - its then much more difficult and hurtful to say the 'thanks but no thanks' line as its obvious its about looks and noone wants to be basically told they aren't fancied !!!

What we find a bit......'ill mannered' shal we say is when we get freind invites and messages from peeps saying they love our profile etc etc.

But dont actually attach a pic of themselves,seems they just want to get access to our private gallery without having to post pics of themselves.

We are all for a bit of perving but manners are manners

Hi all - we have our face pics in private gallery, for our own reasons, local privacy, you never know who's 'idly browsing' that kind of thing...!

We're lucky in that we've not had anyone reject us yet after seeing the real us.

Being brutal, though - we have!

There's no point being coy about it, we all find different things attractive in other people and we can be gently & politely honest with each other...

the only nice way to respond is a "thanks but no thanks" type message, atleast that way you have had the decencey to reply..

there does seem to be the odd person that things just because your a "swinger" your are obliged to fancy everyone and want to shag anyone that is on offer.

we dont really search for people that oftne on here, we just tend to deal with the people that have messaged us, that wasy we no they have already taken an interest, and so far i dont think any1 has taken a dislike to nat!

We don't really look at a polite "No thanx" as rejection its just a matter of going through a selection process lol

Unless a message intimates they don't require a reply we do try to ensure we send a polite "No Thanx" or "Yummie Yummie Yes Please".

Unfortunately lots face pix don't show the real person, not only have we had occasions when we've regretted meeting a couple becuase the face pix are better than in real life We have met cple we've politly declined to meet at parties or clubs later and we've really clicked Their pix haven't done them justice
