I wink to people im interested in. Saves time as lots a people not interested in black men so I dont want to waste their time or mine

Pointless exercise winking at women/couples, they recieve that many and most don't check them.

As for receiving them it's a quick and easy way to let the men know they are interested.

As for not having anything to show on profiles, if you like the text and no pictures....ask for one....

Because usually their profile also states ‘will fill in later’ lol plus I’ve found the ones with no pic when I have asked for one it’s scared the life out of me and I’ve realised why they don’t have them on display

I don’t mind winks. But I see them as a way to attract attention to your profile so when it’s pretty much blank, or worse - hidden, total waste of time!

We'd prefer a wink to a badly-written message. We can certainly see it triggering a conversation with a single woman or a couple. A single man is considerably less likely because we're not looking for one, but if somebody was really aligned to what we would look for then there's no harm. It's just that in the vast majority of cases they are deleted.

The post is not about if you like winks or not it’s about what’s the point of winking if your profile is blank, surely nobody winks back or messages them??
