Playroom dresscode and trans people

So I had this thought, and was wondering if anyone could help me with it; how do clubs broach the matter of what they allow trans people to wear in the playroom area, given that the general dresscode is underwear or a towel.

The thought comes, as a trans person may be suffering dysmorphophobia of their own body. A mtf trans person may feel uncomfortable because they have had no upper body surgery and not feel feminine enough to be seen in underwear. On the other side of the coin, a ftm trans person may have not had a mamacetomy and be uncomfortable with exposing their chest, or having to wrap a towel up over their chest.

The main reason I ask this is because I have trans friends, and it would be nice to ask them to go to an event arranged by people on here, as a Guestlist/no membership needed night, to use the dungeon area, and would hate to have them made feel uncomfortable because they were asked to remove a top when they haven't had a mamacetomy, or do not feel comfortable dressing down to underwear

Club Meets Only

Many of the trans folk I have seen in the club continue to wear & play in whatever they are in. Be it sexy dressed up or in their undies. I can only speak for one club that I frequent but there is never an issue or a question that anyone should be in any way uncomfortable with their choice of clothing.

Many trans play in full dress on stage & in private

what a lovely caring and empathetic post ! your trans friends are lucky to have such a caring considerate friend.

I have been to lots if venues and parties. I do dress down in the right company ... however in many places I prefer to stay in my dress or whatever outfit I've chosen. I can honestly say that I have never been asked to dress down due to club rules. Most staff understand Dysphoria and dysmorphia in the trans community and how that effects us xx

That’s a really interesting question

Myself as a woman I dislike clubs that have a dress down policy for play areas. Part of my turn on for going to a club is the thrill of carefully selecting a hot outfit that will either stay on for play or come off if I choose.

Knowing many trans on the scene I know they meticulously plan their outfits and take lots of time to perfect their look so stripping down to a towel would I feel take that edge away

Not every club has this rule and they are normally the ones I choose to attend

I can see this an easier situation for mtf trans people. I think I might be more concerned for ftm trans people. If treated as a man, they might not want to strip down. If treated as a woman, they may feel uncomfortable from how people react to them being an acception to the rule. But I guess nobody knows till the situation arises

I think you will find that if a trans person has the balls(sic) to go to a club that the rest is irrelavent. They expect to be seen in various stages of undress anyway. Also most will be dressed so that they can remain in underwear anyway.
