Have we made people disposable, 10 a penny sort of thought process

I think Tinder and the ilk are way more damaging for that sort of thing.

Though maybe since you can message uninvited here there are more avenues for abuse??

I think it's more of the stick having too ends kind of thing. If you're considered and respectful to others they have no room to be disrespectful to you. However some are justs twats and can't be helped. Give way to the fool in that case.
