Why do people do this?? So infuriating.

I have an extremely unwanted record of arranging 3 meets and being stood up on every one.

No explanation, no further communication, nothing! If you can’t make it, just a polite apology would suffice.

Third time has happened right now.

I think I’m destined to forever be unverified

I’ve been fortunate to avoid this, albeit I often meet at couples own homes etc. What were you on for, a social or a full meet?

It can happen that life gets in the way of your plans but it’s basic courtesy to let the other party know

Luckily we haven't had this problem. But we can't understand why it happens. Why do it. We do think some people get off on wasting people's time x

Never had a no show during my time on here. Have however had two occasions where the ladies bore zero resemblance to their pics and another when I knocked on the door to find a rather obese guy who thought that since I was bi I wouldn’t mind that he’d used a fake woman’s profile and pics to arrange the meet.

We would say 3 quarters of our arranged meets end up in no shows or same day cancellations, we mostly stick to clubs now to arrange meets then if they don't show you have the rest of the sweetie shop

Aw sorry that's happened. I can be flaky sometimes in getting around to arranging a meet or social, but would never stand someone up. That's not good so make sure you report them.

Maybe change your method of arranging meets? Were they definitely women? Were they verified women? Did you speak on the phone? Did it all sound too good to be true?

Maybe change your method of arranging meets? Were they definitely women? Were they verified women? Did you speak on the phone? Did it all sound too good to be true?

I hate no shows too. I take it personally not that they are too nervous. Some guys ive given second chances to as well

Probably a fake. We've stopped meeting outside of swinging clubs and we don't have any further problems now.

Sorry to hear that OP, but ‘ordinary’ life does get in the way at times! In the 8 years I’ve been using Fab, I’ve only had 2 cancellations, so I guess I’ve been lucky. My advice would be to just keep your wits about you when arranging a meet, and feel confident that the person you’re chatting with, matches their profile. All the best fella

It happens op, I’ve never personally had it happen to me but I don’t meet often (once every 4 months on average). I’ve been ghosted loads. All I can say is what I’d do is speak on mobile an hour before and check things are ok, if no reply I’d not meet.
