In chat, as everywhere else, if you don't like what certain people are saying, you can block and you never have to see them again. Or, you can go to find more polite rooms instead. I don't get to go into the chat rooms much atm as I havn't a PC of my own, but when I do go there, I never go to the directing rooms. They are far to much like a cattle market, people are rude (in a bad way) and in all the years I have been on the site and used the rooms, I have never got a meet with someone from the directing rooms...... | |||

However, by going into the directing room you are (tacitly at least) accepting that you are going into a chatroom where there are no restrictions to what can be said (so long as no one is being threatened etc). If you don't like that, then you can chat in one of the general rooms. There is no guarantee that it won't happen i a general room, but believe you me, if there is a mod in the room then anyone saying inapropriate things will be out, quick as mustard. And I still maintain that there is the block function if you don't like what people are writing in the directing room, you can block em and never have to see what they are typing ever again.... | |||

I don't use the chat rooms here as I find this behaviour unacceptable but that's what you get here; so I tend to use another site where you can create your own rooms including directing, but you can also stipulate rules which could include using the word please! You also don't have to rely on a mod to regulate the room although they are available and even have a room if you do get a difficult situation. | |||
