Looking for a partner in crime ...

A question that has puzzled me if I may ... a lot of single male profiles around me at the moment have "also looking for a partner in crime for parties and clubs". Now don't get me wrong I understand what they are looking for but am a tad confused as to what the lady gets out of it other than a lift perhaps?

I go to the odd party or trip, as and when I feel like it, and have no problems at all! Lots of invites available and clubs except couples only nights which I've never felt the need to go to (yes, I'm single)

So, the single gentleman suddenly will get more invites? More opportunities More luck? More popularity? What does the single lady actually gain from this arrangement? Has anyone experienced this arrangement?

Would love to know ... thanks for any replies

I think you have got the nail on the head. It does seem like a unilateral agreement where the guy gets more invites and the woman gets someone to go with which may be less intimidating than going on her own ... and possibly a lift.

I don’t have an issue with two singles going to a club together as friends to open up more doors as it were. However for me the friendship should be the focus and aim rather than having a wingman.

Thank you both for your great replies! I'm glad now that I'm not alone in my thinking and yes I agree wholeheartedly about the two friends being a different arrangement
