Is swinging socially acceptable ? Not the sort of thing you’d mention at a job interview or chatting to your Aunty Jean but do people & friends deeply frown upon it ? Are you open secretive?

Just find it curious that society I think now on the whole is accepting of people’s sexuality so is there such a thing as openaphobic” or ” swingaphobic “

Don’t think society is accepting of swinging. Gay, transgender is now fine but having multiple partners when you’re in a relationship is seen as a bit deviant we would think.

However you’re a single guy and if you’re meeting single girls for nsa sex then that’s not really swinging and probably less frowned upon.

No, society still finds it odd. I think it's because they have monogamy and happily ever after presented to them so much that they think considering anything else is odd or wrong.

A few close friends know we do this and are cool about it, but we would never make it broadly known.

I think individuals may be more accepting on average, compared to some years ago but that's just on average - you will still get many people who aren't.

And you will get incredible amounts of ignorance, stupidity and some people who don't like it. If you are the first person that they know who does it, you have a large mountain to climb, just to educate them.

Yep , your probably right

Sure, there is more stigma for a couple than a single guy going to clubs etc- single guy guess wouldn’t be defined as a swinger

Oh god yes .. tried to tell people how happy some couples are - they trust each other , happier for it etc .. they just will not have it

Also how clubs aren’t tacky ( mostly) and are a nice place to relax / socialise .. wasted oxygen! !
