Anyone been here? We're booked to go in a couple of weeks - we tried to get La Mirage but that's booked for ever and a day, so we stumbled across Venus Star Resort. Very new and much bigger than LM but only a couple of hundred yards away.

The few reviews say how great it is except it wasn't completely finished, though they were from around January time.

Would be good to get some verification from the trusted Fabswingers community - still if not, it will be an adventure in any case.

It's a lovely resort and for not being finished, back in Feb it was just a bit of cosmetic work they were carrying out. The Bbq's are fantastic and get very busy, the bungalows are kitted out with everything you need, you'll have a great time x

The pictures look brilliant, can't wait now, appreciate your comment - LM was brilliant, we loved it there, think this is going to be better.

La Mirage is closed from June to Sep as having a refit, due to reopen in Sep I think. If the pics are anything to by it looks as though it should be lovely when finished. We just booked to go in Feb so see then.

Gerrards Cross

Went as a day visitor (3 times) in May. It was finished and we really liked it.

We stayed there last year October just after it opened. We loved it. Going back on 3rd Aug this year.
