A waste of time because you can't filter yourself when meeting for real x

Inavertiable, so time to get use to it. We all want to look our best, fair enough. But it's counterproductive if the pictures massively deviate from the reality, just wastes everyone's time and energy. So if your going to us them I'd say people find a good ballence between looking your best and giving an accurate representation of your self.

Where might one get this filter that makes you look slimmer, out of curiosity...

Well I quite like the romance of black and white shots.

But the other stuff is just plain scary. I played around with all the features the other day and didn't recognise myself. Deleted them all.

A few of my work colleagues use them. Facetune I think. If I used that then I wouldn’t look like I do in my pics and would be much slimmer.

I don't think there is anything wrong with making yourself look like the best version of you. But I see too many filters where people look absolutely nothing like themselves and I think it's misleading.

I like to think my photos are a good representation of me when I'm at my best! I definitely don't look as good as my photos day to day though. Ugh if you could see me now.

I don't love it, but it's like anything, pinch of salt.

I only use B&W and cut stuff/ my face out.

You don't need to look slimmer.

Oh dear, if red vein marks are a deal breaker then good luck to you. I have a varicose vein on the inside of my leg but I wouldn’t show that in a pic. Jeez.

Yeah... Life/ scars etc happen. My scars are strategically hidden in my pictures. In person, they're a massive fuckwit filter.

As a photographer, the term "filter" for the things like dog tongues really grates because they has nothing to do with filters either optical or digital.

The digital "filters" to smooth skin are usually rather obvious and mean an instant "ignore" from me. I want to see what people look like.

I guess two of my fab pics technically made use of a filter.... Shot on film with a UV filter.

Let me make sure I've got this right.

You met someone in a club who you had seen a picture of before and you didn't fancy her at all in real life.

You feel angry and tricked because of this?

I think possibly there maybe a bigger problem here than phone photo filters...

I hate these filters changing shape and body type... Several months back I arranged a social and walked straight past the guy because he looked so different! Talk about false advertising

Even better when they suck their waists in and other objects beside them convex all over the show.

That does not make sense and as for dopey...well, I’m keeping that to myself.
