Just why guys? Opened my inbox and felt like I was being shot at by a machine gun this morning. Before I could even reply to the first message a 2nd and third one was sent. Just a bit OTT. At least give us time to reply to the first one. And yes, it is guys not couples or women. If anyone has a theory on why they do this I'd be interested to hear it.

I think some take the "women get lots of messages" thing to mean they should be at the top of the inbox, not "let's not make the problem worse"

Its a marketing technique, bomb people with info so no one else gets notice, not helpful I know it seems desperate to us, which is why we omitted guys from our mail preferences. male

I think if one day those messages stopped coming you would worry and probably be a bit disapointed ... take it as a compliment of your desirability filter out the ones you want to open. The rest cam all wait

*shrug* I’ve sent maybe three introductory messages in the last year, everything else has been replies or DMs related to forum posts. But that’s the submissive side of me being too shy to put myself out there. I’d rather have a nice chat over a tea/biscuits and forum thread.

Exactly!, if your an attractive person with a great profile there is no suprise you gona get allot of messages and unfortunately some of those will be from weirdos , but look at it from a half full perspective ... you get the pick of the bunch once you filtered through an If none take your fancy, delete an I'm sure you will get allot more the next day . Shouldnt take offence it's the internet

But, but, but.......how do we know how many messages you have to decide not to message you? I think the filter is your friend here. Have different age brackets for different days of the week

How's any guy ment to know how much mail you have in your inbox?. Each are just messaging to state an interest. If you don't like it why haven't you blocked single guys?
