Same thing happened to me spoke to a lady for 7 weeks.

Was on the way to meet up with her.

Stop to get the address and she block me.

But only just spoke before I left the house.

And people say it's us guy's that are the problem.

I can't even think how many messages we had sent to each other and the time spent on here.

But i guess like everyone else you question yourself.

Was it me did i do something wrong because that's the way it makes you feel.

After spending all that time on here.

He's not suggesting that. He's saying that even though they would be there too if it went further his job could be at risk. This is true in some cases although they'd struggle to prove you were actually there

He does for me, by saying that,he suggests that no one else in club have important enough profession, and they can be recognise and that won't be demaging for them .And assuming that even when recognised some in that club going to "spill the beans" about his participation.

Let downs seem to be more of a fact of life these day in all walks of life... I've been let down more than once after a week or more of planning...I have let a couple down before but cancelled 4 days before the meeting as my brother was in hospital... It's not as if you can take a non refundable deposit... lol....

He never said that at all. We fully understand where he's coming from as we won't attend clubs for the same reason. We're not better than anyone but don't want to risk our livelihood for it, others do and that's up to them. Yes, we know people who have lost jobs so it's not an excuse it really is an issue for some people, is it really that difficult to understand.

I've been swinging for almost 10 years, and I've been a regular at Quest for just as long.

I dont live too far from the club either.

In all that time I've never encountered a neighbour or a work colleague at Quest, or the many other clubs I've visited around the country.

If by some fluke you did see someone, how could they prove you were there?

Without outing themselves, it's your word against theres.

Must be something in the water in Yorkshire. Several flakes and last minute cancellations over the last few weeks. Thank goodness for friends who are up for me falling in with their plans when mine fall through! I try to sort back up plans now for new meets for this reason. Flaky men aren’t going to keep me from my rare opportunities to play!

We had been messaging a "couple" for a week or so. We set up a meet and "they" were coming to our place for an evening meet. That morning "they" messaged to say the car had broken down but if we coul "lend" them some money they could get it fixed and come over next day.

No fab is great you just have to realise that some people are here just for the excitement of the chase, wrong way to see it I know, some really do want to meet, like us. Keep positive because when it does work well wow, we can't complain.
