Banned from chat for how long?

Few weeks ago after a night out I went in chat in the early hours. I said something slightly offensive to someone. Was banned. But was not given any notification as to how long I am bad from. I'm still banned. Who should I contact to get it revoked. I've learnt my lesson.

when ever some one is banned they get a automatic message from admin telling them why... if you dont agree with it contact admin by going to the botton of ya home page (blue band) and click on CONTACT.. if its been a few weeks .... GUd luck lol

I was heavily d*unk and stated my opnion about certain type of people in the chat which was deemed offensive.

I don't understand what being d*unk has to do with anything? does that excuse the behaviour?

I suspect that it may be a permanent ban if it has been a few weeks.

I'm not being argumentative, but if you go in to chat and are abusive you deserve to be banned. Drnking doesn't excuse it. Abusive people in chat are a pain in the arse. What's to say you won't be abusive again?

There are some people that are just always abusive. I stated my opninion on a certain type of swinger in the chat. Ie women that only meet black men. It was a mistake as it cause offensive but i was not sinuglarly aiming my comment at anyone, a moderator probably took offense to it.

There is one ban option that I think doesn't send an automatic mail, maybe you got that one.

As suggested, click on the CONTACT button to ask Admin.

No idea, my longest ban was 5 days, and that was more of a heated discussion rather than abuse. I know there are people that have had longer. No idea if people get longer, I suspect so. Nit sure comparing the forums and chat is really comparing like with like as the dtnamics are different?

No one gets a ban for a heated debate, but will do if they break rules while doing so.

To Polo....it depends on the severity of the abuse as to what ban you get, obviously severe abuse will probably get a perm.

i was told someone was given a permanent ban from chat after he let someone who was banned appear on his cam in chat.

No idea if thats true or not as it seems extreme - and the person who was banned and on his cam is in chat normally again.
