I've had a similar situation. When my mate and his girlfriend became serious I had a chat with her. Just said it was great fun back then but I'd never do it again out of respect for your relationship and my friendship with you both. No regrets etc. But this is where we stand now. Thankfully we are all still good friends. They are married with kids now
