Does anyone else experience very successful starts to interesting and funny conversations here?

You swap face pictures everyone states a mutual attraction and then after 7,8,9 10 more messages in everything stops dead?

The sent message then commonly sits in the sent folder (unread) for months.

It twists our melons man/woman/many other gender options!!

7,8,9 or 10 messages. You lucky wee bisum, usually 3 or 4 for me

Yup! I think it’s worse than it just being deleted unread.

Also it’s worth bearing in mind that the new ‘thread’ message system means you can see the message without actually opening it!

I sometimes leave messages for L to read so they stay unread a few days. Try to reply to most though even if it’s a quick no thanks

Yes we have had this on the odd occasion. We've put it mostly down to them wanting to meet asap and not get lost in chat. We have to plan a night out which can often be a couple of weeks away and thats if we hadn't already got anything planned and lots just seem to want to chat, social then meet within a small time frame and it's rare we can do this. Xx

For me that would be too much messaging. I’d see it as time wasting as I prefer to move to phone or video chat quite quickly. Maybe other people feel similarly. Chances are they have other conversations going on and easier opportunities?

Standard fab. Unfortunately many messages will end up lost in a sea of other messages. Peoples eyes sway to others ect. Frustrating but it happens.
