What isit with people on here abusing you after you turn them down, and surely they do it too most people? so why are they still on the site they should be removed and banned from using the site ...I get most of the abuse from men I have a feeling why they abuse me after but if a man could enlighten me why that would be great

The simplest of solutions is available to you.

When you send a no thanks. You then block that person immediately afterwards. You'll never be abused for saying no again.

Thats why we can set filters and why we a have our own minds. Abuse anywhere shouldn't be tolerated. Block as people above have said. Or raise your age profile so gentlemen hint hint can message lol. Joking just be you and stay true

I don't think being a gentleman comes within the age because I've had older guys abuse me after as well I think it's more about just who you are as a person

It's a terrible indictment of the way people act in general. Personally, i agree it's most likely down to the mindset that if you're here you're gonna Shag anyone and the fact that you have dared to say no to them as they are (in Thier world) the 'most amazing lay you're gonna get love and you should be grateful'so the fact you've dared to turn them down just hits the ego spot nicely.

Tbh, the mere fact they have a reply even a no should be a welcome relief to the black hole 99% of sent messages go to!

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

Admin

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******

Yes it the lines we know we’re not skinny. People are like your lucky your find anyone with high standards looking like that.

Or one guy was like I messaged the wrong couple I don’t do fattys. Wtf it’s a joke we just want to have a nice chat and great sex. Not to be shamed. Xx

This is a great question.

I assume abuse is primarily from men to women, and the women concerned should do what they feel appropriate for their personal wellbeing.

I assume the abuse women receive is driven by rejection from men, which is driven in turn by a combination of their low self esteem and their personal self confidence.

I would much rather someone say, sorry, just don’t fancy you.

I've never once had abuse, they're probably relieved!

But yeah, if it happens a lot then blocking is the way to go I think, why give them opportunity to message again after you say no, even if they don't send a nasty message, they still have chance to try again in a few days/weeks. It just cuts down unwanted messages.

It’s a sad fact of all internet contact sites. The combination of free to join, people to contact, and the lethal part - a keyboard with anonymity!

I was warned when going on dating sites: only believe a fraction of what you see / read. Develop a thick skin quick. Never worry about rejection. Don’t be rude or crude as you wouldn’t be in real life.sadly many people forget the last bit.

I’ve had abuse from women on ‘vanilla’ dating sites if after a few (often dull) messages if I say “thanks but no thanks”, or even if I simply don’t reply quick enough. People!

Take the no reply no interest advice as stated in faq section. I'm now doing this and ignoring anything that is if no interest to me. The abuse, why nots and trying to persuade me to meet has dropped off an awful lot.
