near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Anyone else got tickets for this show at the NEC 13/14th July? I was a regular at the old Erotica shows in London although I didn`t go to the last one at Tobacco Dock which was a shame as I thought it was a great venue to hold a show like that! It always tickles me to think when you see the Horse of the Year show at Olympia that a few weeks before scantily dressed people were milling around where the fences were!

"Is it like the Ideal Home Show for dildos?"

Yes, and much more!

Should be a much better show that the original Erotica as the licencing rules are allowing much more than Westminster City Council would allow at Olympia.

Sorry what type of things occur at such an event? Is it just like any Normal exhibition where people are peddling goods at a higher than normal price but knocking a few quid off again as a show special? Or is it a little more exciting?

We went to Erotica and Sexhibition and if this is of the same ilk, it's a great day put. There will be live stage shows (burlesque) and erotica fashion shows, erotica art and furniture, sexual themed workshops and then the stands selling clothing, toys, bondage and fetish gear etc...

The best thing though is the people who attend. Interesting and fun people, swingers, fetish types and fans of dressing up, Men, Women, non-binary, straight, gay, old & young... people from every demographic.

A real FAB day out.

Punter watching was my favourite part of Erotica! I concentrated on the London events but did go to the Manchester Erotica at what was then the G Mex but never went to Sexhibition.

When you find out how much it costs to have a stand at a show like this, you`ll appreciate why the prices are like they are!

Went to the Manchester one a few years ago, was a good day out. There were bargains to be had and a good way to introduce things into a relationship at the time.

Didn't go to the aftershow party so don't know how rowdy that got!

Found the London ones a bit of an anti-climax. Wore myself out walking around, couldn't see the show properly. Got ignored at the make a porno movie stall. Upside I met Louise Hodges, Cathy Barry, Hannah Callow, Rhona Barry and some model gal called Teresa May who said she wanted to be Prime Minister one day.

Why be smug? It's in Britain why would they charge in anything else but British pounds sterling? Unless someone from abroad was buying tickets online.

We tried to buy tickets yesterday but sales have been suspended pending a promotional campaign.

Maybe sales haven't been what they hoped for.

Towards the end, the London Erotica shows were very tame thanks to the Westminster Council`s licencing laws. No nudity, no topless even! No whipping or anything like that. Such a shame. The Sexpo people wanted to continue having a London show but couldn`t get a venue to accept them! Hopefully, with the NEC being reasonably accessible, more people will be attracted to go!

Who knows? They may well be keeping a tight reign to ensure there`s a show next year as I`m sure there`s a hell of a lot of investment gone in just to get this show off the ground!

Statement from Sexpo

It is great regret that we find it necessary to postpone the 2019 UK Sexpo to later in the year.

Unfortunately, we have had some issues with the permit required to run the event. We were only recently informed that our permit application needs to be submitted by a UK resident and so we need to resubmit. After much sole searching, we believe it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone the event, given the now tight time frame.

Also, the July dates conflict with ANME, a tradeshow in the US and some international companies are unable to commit to attending our event.

Both of these issues are easily resolved, with the extra time the new dates allow us.

We now have tentative dates of October 25-27, 2019. We will be able to confirm these dates on Wednesday of next week (22/5).

All pre-purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates.

We completely understand that some people have booked non-transferable travel and accommodation. We would like to offer anyone so affected a free upgrade to the next level of ticket as way of an apology.

We do ask that you are patient with us and understand we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.

Anyone not able to attend the event on the new dates will receive a refund. Please email refunds@outix.com.au and one of the team will be able to assist you. We do ask that you please understand that this is a process and may take a couple of days so be patient with our team.

Companies that have booked exhibition space will be contacted directly.

Once again, we apologise for this change and we hope to see all on the 25th of October.

IMPORTANT NEWS!!!! Sexpo have announced that due a dispute between them and the ticketing agents who have not been transferring the ticket money to the organisers, Sexpo UK 2019 is cancelled. Those holding tickets should refer back to the Sexpo website where the e.mail address of Outix, the ticket agents, can be found.

Saw this coming and cancelled our stand there a few weeks ago. Still got visitors from around the country heading to Brum, good few staying with us already and partying over the weekend.

Will do free entry for anyone who has a Sexpo ticket on Friday night to try to make up a little for your loss. You will need membership with us though, so if a couple or lady, welcome on the door with valid ID, guys must apply for membership via the Join Us page on our web site please.

Saturday night is our DPraved dance event, great night out and well worth the cost with all the added extras, so can't do anything on that night, sorry.

Now to get on and try and get some money back...fat chance eh!
