So your out and you check into fab to see whose nearby .like you do .

The nearest persons status says they're in the same place as you are .

So you check their profile and there's a face pic .

So you look round and there's not many in .so the only person it could be is ten years older and five stone heavier.

So anyone any good stories about turning up to a meet and hardly recognising the person and what you then did

I really need to update my pics. Because mine are from over a year ago and im 6 stone lighter lol

So in my opinion i look worse on my profile than i do im real life haha

I chatted to this guy who only had one picture on his profile. When we met he didn't have hair anymore and was wearing glasses, considerably much older looking than his picture. When I asked him he said he was 10 years younger in it.. I finished my half a cider and went home. He offered to walk me but I politely declined.

You would think if ur gonna meet someone u would come clean, stand there face to face and embrass themselves oh yea I forgot I actually don't look like that. It's crazy do they actually think cuz ur there u will sleep with them anyway. I think a video chat first maybe the way to go

I've seen some pictures where it's obviously a picture of a developed film picture. The fashion and fading can make it as look as old as the 80s. OK, you looked fine then, but so did my grandfather.

Seriously guys. If it's older than five years old, and I'm being generous, take a new picture. (I update my face picture every six weeks or so, and try to have recentish body shots)

We meet socially only first if they have used old photos nothings lost. If they are nice people and attractive to us as they actually are rather than were, then we might agree to meet again but it does leave a bad taste.

We travelled quite a long way to meet a guy once who was an hour late and about 20 years older than his photo. He also turned up in shorts and flip flops which did not go down well with me . He took phone calls during our brief chat and was generally rude so he could have been Adonis and I would have declined a further encounter

I'd of been raging, flip flops and shorts and rude, some ppl live on there own planet! Yea we will be doing a social meet first, can be forgiven if they haven't changed to much and are nice ppl. I understand it leaving bad taste, I don't know who would be worse me or fox instantly striking them off the list xxx
