Kill two birds with one stone.....achieve two tasks with one effort at the same time. Not much fun if you're a bird.

The other day I managed to crack two eggs on the kitchen floor, shame I didn't get the bowl under em first.

A stitch in time saves nine, always wondered about that one.

My son did that yesterday cracked the eggs on the floor he completely missed the bowl

My dad always had lots of weird and wonderful ones his favourite was don’t sweat the small stuff
