hi.... weve seen "socials" talked about on posts etc and were wondering exactly what it means. Are we right in thinking couples and singles converge on a pub or venue to meet and socialise, and if so does anyone know if Brighton (or close ish) has any "social" nights lined up......many thanks

Yep, you've got it. Socials are just that, a chance to meet and socialise, to see and be seen.

It's just a matter of keeping your eyes on the forums and the meets/parties forum in particular to find one local to your are.

Or you could organise one yourself if there are none, a lunch perhaps or a drinks night down the pub.

Just put a post in the forum suggesting it to get a clue of numbers ....... you could be having one very soon! xxx
