Today must be my unlucky day, after numerous messages being sent out and getting no where a friendly and attractive couple replied to me and we began to organise a meet for this evening.

All I asked was do you practice safe sex!!

I heard nothing from them and now I’ve noticed the thread of messages we had have been deleted.

We’re complete strangers and I don’t know their sexual history so am I wrong to ask and then maybe as we get to know one another we go bareback.

Now I’m thinking sod it, meet up with them anyway as I’ve very limited luck on here for awhile.

Two questions.

How does knowing someone better make sex safer in a swinging environment?

Are they still on the site, messages disappear if someone deletes their profile?

Well if you know someone better I thought you’d find out their history and how often or if they get tested??

I go every 2 months for a blood test and so far I’m clean

Was the meet a sex meet or a social OP? If the latter then perhaps discussing the idea of sex at an early stage was seen as presumptuous.

Either way you should never compromise your preferences (and potentially your health) for the sake of a shag - notwithstanding what I said above about the timing of the question, it's always good to discuss boundaries and preferences before meeting someone and if theirs don't match then like I said you shouldn't compromise them purely because "meets are hard to come by"
