I completely agree.

I am what I am, I try to make my pics as flattering as possible, but I try to be as "me" as possible. I believe I come across on the forums and in messages as I do in person, but only those who have met me could really say.

I spent a long time trying to be what I thought people wanted. It really doesn't work!

Yeah in black and white it’s wrong but I doubt there’s a person who can say they haven’t lied in some form to gain a leg up or to just edge a situation.

If things work out the better for it and nobody is hurt I’d say the odd fib is part of life

Because height plays a huge factor in online dating.

I wouldn't lie to that extent - but I can guarantee any guy under 6-foot on here has knocked their height up an inch or two ( helps that most women have no idea what 6-foot actually looks like

You should just ask them outright, before a potential meet, if its a huge deal for you. Explain that if they are lying about their height, you have no issue just walking away straight away and they have been warned. If they are lying, they may be more apt to fess up, so they dont waste their own time, or yours

On here, men probably lie more than women. Mainly because for most men it's the only way they are ever going to get a sniff of anything. Not condoning it, just pointing out the obvious that when the exchange rate is so high trade imbalance techniques will be applied.

In life in general I tend to agree with Chris Rock's joke on the matter.
