All this constant fear mongering has taken the focus away from reality and that is never a good thing.

I think the option should be there, as a 3 way drop down:

Bareback

No bareback

No decision

No decision meaning it doesn't appear on the profile at all and things are precisely as they are now for them.

I can't see any way in which that could be detrimental for any user and it would allow those that play that way to filter out those who don't, and conversely those who won't play that way to filter out those who do.

When starting my profile there is a section to click if your do there eg oral, anal, safe sex, bare back, if people don’t see bare back there they should assume it’s safe sex only x

Maybe the owners would worry that it may be seen as a sign of glorifying bareback on here, by having it as an option. Given that there is a belief with some that active swingers may be STD ridden, the owners didn't think it was the best idea to have that search option perhaps. I'm not sure

Not specifically that, but this site could definitely do with a lot more filters/options for searching.

When you use the 'map' view and search via post code you can't even filter out by male/female etc, this site is definitely missing lots of basic things

I think it’s a very good idea. Regardless of your views, it’s clear to see whether the person / people you’re looking at, fill your criteria or not. Works on fabguys so don’t see why it isn’t an option here. It really shouldn’t be a taboo subject. Clear to see that the “safe sex” box doesn’t work well when couples and singles aren’t sticking to it.

The trouble that I see arising from this is that people could mistakenly assume that anyone who may have ticked 'bareback' would be expected to have this upon demand, rather than it being something that some people enjoy, when they have known someone or connected specially with someone, rather than for a shed load of bareback enthusiasts to pile in. It's perfect that the site allows for people to find others who share the same pursuits but any hidden consequences should be considered too.

It may be a good idea, however there are those that state safe sex on their profile but may have regular trusted friends who they prefer bare fun with. We are honest we do. Play bare with 2 regular couples and a single guy but only because we have known them 9 years.

There does seem a proportion of people though, who state 'safe sex only' in their profile text but wink or message saying they too are looking for BB fun, who wouldn't be able to do this if this was in place.

Prob just as this site is far more visible and often in news articles. Where as other site is more low key. Maybe damage control as others say playing the moral stamp to avoid negative press .

All the other gay sites have bareback / tasp / prep etc various options so more info can be filtered
