Saw quite a meaty disclaimer on a profile other day made me smile.

Legal disclaimer on individuals profile do not deter Sydney uni to use pictures, if they have some agreement with fab. Bedside you signed on fab all accepted and agreed the condition none or maybe few would have read. Again if you don't agree you don't exist on fab rest is eye wash, is Google or facebook not selling adds and did they ask anyone's consent before snooping habits, tracking of browser data 2 mins ago I was browsing ticket for walsall and now getting cheap taxi add

If someone sends me a message I always read their profile before opening or replying and if they’ve got a disclaimer I just delete message, it makes for a boring read on a profile can you imagine how boring they are in the flesh

They are completely useless. Just like the ones people put on facebook.

If you upload a picture of yourself on the internet, it's open doors for everyone to steal it. It doesn't count as 'revenge porn' if you consented to uploading something for everyone to see.

Not to mention that this is a global website so it would be near unenforcable

Agreed, I tend to give more stock to profiles now that have a tongue in cheek reference of some sort to the ubiquitous and frankly useless disclaimer that many deign to put on their profile. Those people come across certainly as having more of their wit about them

"Mines to the point "

It is. But I wonder if in most cases the effect of it is akin to a placebo more like
