Me and my partner sleep in separate rooms when he's over here, as otherwise we wouldn't get much sleep. As he likes to sleep on his front and hog the whole bed, and I can get very fidgety.

I love it when he wakes up before me as then he gets into my bed and snuggles up into me, waking me up with gentle kisses on my neck or even some fingers inside me when he's in naughty mood .

When we first started dating, D would have a lads night out, whilst I had a relaxing evening home alone

When he came home at 3am he would wake me up with gentle kisses between my legs and work his way up, he did this most weekends, then we had kids

I gave consent to my wife to do that wherever she likes. Consent is VERY important.

I understand your stance on this but we are in a loving and extremely sexual relationship. He would never sexually assault me and is always the most generous, caring and considerate man I've ever known. If he even thought this was anything other than him showing his love and admiration for me he wouldn't do it. No means no in our relationship and that line has never been crossed

I'm sure that had Mrs E not been happy with the situation at any point she could have and would have withdrawn her consent. We are in a stable and loving relationship and communicate constantly about all aspects of our lives both sexual and non sexual. As for the allegation of sexual assault, where is the line? Do we have to ask before entering the room if our partner is naked? Should we get them to sign a form before we attempt to give them an impromptu hug and tell them we love them?

This is completely different in a relationship. Having spoke previously about this and knowing that you partner(s) enjoy it. I personally would take that as consent.
