Is the use of the c more in use than it used to be. I love the word but know if offends some people who would never use it.

I have always used it for women's vaginas, women haven't been offended whenever I've used the word cunt in sexual situations. R has used the word cunt since her young days - as a feminist she always believed the word needed reclaiming. Strangely my ex, who was pretty puritanical, always used that word for hers too.

" R has used the word cunt since her young days - as a feminist she always believed the word needed reclaiming. "

It's a perfectly good word and has its uses. I think it has picked up a bit of an unfair tabooness that isn't quite justified: just because it's the Anglo-Saxon word, perhaps? Where other words with the same meaning are accepted. I think we suffer from some word discrimination .

In another direction entirely, there are many parts of Scotland where cunt is practically a term of endearment. "How are you, ya cunt?" is a common friendly greeting.

I don't like it, never use it myself and wouldn't want anyone to use it to refer to my vagina. It doesn't offend me though, I save being offended for really important stuff like people expecting me to eat own brand digestives.

You have your own brand of digestives?.

But I agree on the offence - on both counts.

Use the word to describe a vagina and that's fine with me.

Use it as an insult and that isn't.

Was in Starbucks recently, the cashier asked me for my name to call out when our coffees were ready to collect. I gave my surname as Yukuntz, had a bit of Bavarian feel I thought to myself. A few moments later while sitting waiting at our table we heard the call, " 2 coffees for ......."

I particularly enjoy adding other words to it for a more descriptive element , such as ..

Cuntpuddle ( A wet drip)

Cuntwaffle ( Someone who talks crap)

Cunty ( Someone acting like a cunt)

Cunt ( Someone so awful , no other word can describe them , as they are a cunt)

It's one of the funniest words I know. I have a little game where I try and slip it in to a conversation without the other person realising. It's cuntsiderably easier than you think.

I grew up in Oz and it's mainstream to describe people, good or bad.

You can be a sick C*nt which is good or a shit C*nt which is bad.

If you're a total C*unt throw yourself off a cliff!

I personally refrain from using too much as it's becoming mainstream and losing it's magic.

I did laugh when I heard it used as an insult in the Game of Thrones.

It’s pretty harsh, but really drives the point home if you’re in the pissed off with someone in the office and call them a massive c@@t!!! Defos gets the point across.... that being said really miss the ‘wanker’ profanity, far too underused...

I’m seeing it used more and more especially from women on twitter of all places. I’ve also had a light hearted message recently from a “couple” who used it. I really don’t like it. Maybe it’s an age thing.
