How do other people deal with no shows on here? I just returned from a 1 hour round trip after waiting an additional 20 ins in a bar for another couple not to show up.

My advice is meet local people, i personally wouldnt travel a hour to meet a stranger, before i travel any distance i have to know for sure they are genuine

sorry to hear of your disappointment.

Report the profile as a no show .

in future always insist on speaking on the fone if its a single female or a couple ask to speak to both .

Im a firm believer that people can change their mind for any reason, even after they have agreed to meet, however i feel theres no excuse for not firing off a text/message on here and letting the person your meeting know

agreed...i have travelled hundreds of miles for ppl i know, but for strangers i would keep it local

We always do a "local pub to us" initial meet as if the others dont turn up at least we havent travelled far.

Bugger that travelling 1 hour to meet.

If you cant meet anyone more local to yourself you really need to be more choosy who your arranging meets with to save your personal time.

Id just think sod um there lost, had a nice drive listening to my tunes, and next time i would'nt be so trusting, i would prob add them to my block list as i wouldnt wanna hear the lame excuses as a 12p text would have save my fuel and time and i would consider it a lesson learnt for sure

Next time though maybe arrange somewhere thats half way between each party!

track them down and murder them in thier sleep. be proactive lol.

seriously, though, we have travelled for people, and thankfully, they have turned up, but we agree that if they dont, we would just have a nice pub lunch and a bit of fun on the way home.

save wasting a journey
