where has isis gone it seems to have disappeared off the clubs listing on fab. does anyone know why and what has happened ??

Isis as a club is very much still thriving... however the review was pulled due to constant negative comments that were unfounded!

They said so.

Honestly, putting up negative reviews when you've been and not enjoyed it is fine. Putting up negative reviews while saying you've either never been, or not been for several years is unfair. I actually reported the review saying they'd not been but admin chose to leave it up so I guess the owners of the club chose to take their chances and remove themselves from the club page.

It's good that the review was taken off, as it should have been.

There's plenty of people out there who like Isis, including friends of ours.

Its not to be confused with the Isis bar in London which wrapped its last party towards the end of last year. The two venues are not related.

To which I was giving an answer... please do not read too much into my punctuation.

The information they had given in the review was incorrect for the working of the club.... I am not going to go into the in and outs. I was just responding to the OP as to explain why the club was no longer in the club review section.

The club is OK but a little shabby. If you are prepared to travel there are far better alternatives.

The people make a club... not the fixtures and fittings. Isis is not the prettiest of clubs... but for friendliness and atmosphere it is second to none for me!

It's true its not a Gucci club but the peopel are a LOT friendlier than the other clubs I've been to. Having said tht, I hope this thread isn't going to turn into yet another 'lets diss Isis' post because I think thats a bit unfair.

Anyway, I know the OP has been to Isis so can probably make their own minds up.

Im not dissing it as its an OK club, not bad not brilliant it is OK simple as that. There are far nicer clubs décor wise. The people attend well they dont belong to it although there are nice there as in many other clubs.

Its a shame they have taken it down, as there's a potential loss of custom from it not being there...and its a shame if people dont make there own minds up by going to clubs for themselves instead of taking the reviews on here as gospel...one mans trash is another mans treasure and all that.

we have been to isis many times and have had a lovely relaxed time in fact we have been going for the last few wednesday afternoons which has been lovely i can now understand why it has been taken off the listing if it was a full on war we need genuine reviews not fighting over whos right and whos wrong as we all have our own opinions of things

the people do make the club and the owners are lovely and we will be going back again soon thanks everyone for your replys
