So I'm sitting in the dentist's waiting room, and Peg sends me two photo's of her tits.

I respond when I get home with a pick of Mr Willy.

She then tries to send me a photo of Mrs FrontBottom.

No go.

She sends a normal pic, it works.

Again a photo of Mrs FrontBottom.

No go.

Slightly assuming, but also slightly worrying, private not being private, thus.

Why would you assume that F/book is private? Why would you assume that anything on your telephone systems mob and land is private and not accessible by anyone? It certainly beats me why you would think that. Not forgetting that your computers systems are on telephone networks...

under the terms of your account of the aforementioned social network, every word, and every picure, that you put onto their site becomes the property of the company... so it's entirely up to them if they decide to share it on to the intended recipient....

Because it was a message to her, and her alone, or vice versa.

Guess I thought messaging on F/book was more akin to sending a text message, an msn message or an email.

I'm not so naive as to not to know that every communication sent electronically in any what, way or form gets recorded in databases, but one to one messaging getting censored in real time ? That surprised me.

Was possibly her " I'm horny " comment before said photo that got them reading the conversation.

As I have my daughter and sister on my F/Book, and am not sufficiently tech savvy to have worked out how to filter on there, I think I'll stick to texting naughty pics

As far as I know you can't message pics to one another via computers on "normal" F/Book.

We were doing this with the F/Book app for iPhone.

It's not like we were posting naughties on each others walls and then restricting who could view them

Send exactly the same again and see what happens. The computer that reads your messages may have deleted it.
