There are loads of soldiers on here don;t you know. They always seem to be flying out to Afganistan at the weekend and are usually looking for a bit of fun before they leave.

To be fair, they probably are. At Catterick they're barely back before they are shipped out again.

Very much doubt it to be honest, especially when they try the same moves two weeks after they were supposed to have left!

So whats ya whinge about then? are you saying soldiers and fire men should not be allowed to have fun and play on here or are you hinting at the fact that some maybe not quite telling the truth? haha

Best one I have had is a scientist who was going to Geneva to work on the Large Hadron Collider and want to play before he flew out!

D is an ex soldier and is a Fireman now...He has a uniform fetish he he

A lot of guys think that the Ladies will fall over them selves when they say they are Squaddies or Fireman...look out for the Bullshitters...we had a guy pretending to be a Fireman..soon smelt that BS!

And on the subject of Afgan, just remember that 80% of those that go are REMFs...at Bastion or KAF...Slipper cities..

Its the Infantry, Marines, Paras,Engineers, EOD, and Helo force taking the risks!

But....God bless them all....and Keep them safe....

Blimy...where did we go with that topic..lol

I have met several army guys off here in the past. In fact one gent didn't tell me what his profession was until after, so I didn't pick specifically on trade. It was purely coincidental.

I sort of understand why it is done though, its like me saying I am a redhead, its their USP, thats all.

Cool

My first profile was uniform sucker - so I got exactly what I was after, more than a few times so I was very happy :-0, especially the RAF MP who was wearing the buttom badge, darn hot lol

Well if they are current serving the PT means they are usually pyhsically fit, and they have staying power, (generalisation)

I mean men in general who say they are professional guys, does that mean they will be more fun than a manual labourer for example?

Like the thinking, alas a few of the recent uniform pics are not fit , the staying power could apply to anyone, but hey ho

Ah ok, no, I think they are trying to say they are of a standard, i.e don;t want to meet unemployed chavs as they wouldn't click, I may well be wrong, but I wouldn't say I own my own business as a lot would say wanker, but nowt wrong with any job that people have Obviously I can't answer for anyone who says on profile they are professional, just my take on that

As far as uniform for work goes I wear a polo shirt when I can be bothered otherwise what the hell I like, but not for meets to be fair.

And as far as my job being attractive goes I suppose throwing a sports car round a scottish mountainside pass at 110 mph can be exhilerating however sat on a southern motorway being forced to crawl along at under 20 is less so.

Any job is a case of rough with the smooth in my opinion...

I didn't intend for it to seem like bragging when I chose my username. If anything I just couldn't think of anything else to put! I used to think it seemed to bring me a lot of attention being in the forces, however with my location and the amount of us on here I'd say it definitely puts ladies off now

Shame really because the odd idiot squaddy leaves us all tarred with the same brush
