Couples playing separately

Hi all we are a bi couple who have always played together. Given changes in family commitments its almost impossible to get out together so we have been considering giving each other 'hall passes' to play alone.

Any other couples have any experience/ advice to share? How is it for each partner? Is being bi a help or a hindrance?

I would say you need to set some ground rules 1st. I.e. is kissing allowed, anal play etc etc.

Do you want pictures/messages during the meet.

Need to think about safety as well. Have a social 1st as well.

We aren't in a full swap scene only do mfm but even then never play alone...

We have always met together.

I like the idea and fantasy of her playing separately,but in reality I think I’d be too jealous. Even though I’m not during mfm or watching her.

But it’s whatever works for you guys.

I guess it’s different because we have always been in an open relationship but we never play together. I don’t think I’d be able to do it it in any other relationship I’ve been in though.

We are both into different things individually and to be fair as long as I know she if safe I’m quite happy. We met through one of these sites so I knew what I was getting in to.

We always take photos to show each other and have on occasion face timed each other while we were with someone so there are no secrets and lies about it.

Don't assume what works now will work tomorrow and most of all do not rely on hard rules to make it work. Many ppl will suggest have rules around some things (eg kissing, fluid bonding ect) but the fact is people change and the only way to deal with that is to make sure you talk, honestly and openly.

This doesn't mean you have to share the details of a every meet, that is something you have to work out for yourselves, it does mean you have to be willing to explore how you feel, and be open to that changing

As for being bi, I can't really see the relevance other than it means Mr could find saunas and dating apps a hassle free way to find some fun

As others have said communication is the key but something else to consider the practicalities. The female will be able to get meets at the drop of a hat I would imagine but the male will in all likely hood struggle how will that affect your personal relationship.
