OP if you do a search and tick the box that says "I'm the age they are looking for" you will find people who are happy to meet those over 45 - there are plenty out there you just have to use the tools the site gives you to find them!

It's probably age limit for many younger women /couples

But plenty of women prefer an older man.

My age limits are not to be restrictive because I have met with people older than my preference but I have set it for the age I think is optimal and actually it's just another filter to reduce the amount of messages.

If I like someone who is outside of that age range I just message them first
