Can I get some feedback.

People who insist on ‘face pics’ before a reply despite not displaying their own. Is this a case of Double standards ?

Ive used a face pic as my main pic since joining. I've not sent out many messages though. But i get what you mean. Ive seen a few say they will send a face pic if they like the look of you.

I think there's a difference between "we expect an exchange of face pictures immediately" and having them up publicly.

No, I don't ask for face pictures immediately.
