Hi

I have been on here for 8 years now and have had quite afew meets, made some good friends and am just wondering if everyone finds the site the same,

I have encountered some quite rude and unfriendly people on here over the last few years. I am always polite and never hassle anyone but have found it isn’t as friendly as it was 8 years ago. Perhaps social media etc has changed the way people are on certain sites.

Not moaning just be interested to hear if anyone has any similar views ???

I think you might be right about the influence of social media OP. People generally seem less tolerant and polite overall, not just on Fab. It's the idea you can say what you like without concern for others.

I think possibly people get a little bit jaded after a certain amount of time to some extent.

I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way but I put up with a lot more crap when I first joined then I will now for example.

I don’t think it’s changed all that much. There more single guys, so maybe it’s different for women though.

All I know is that people were moaning loads about the downsides and saying it wasn’t what it was when I joined eight years ago too. It wasn’t all sweetness and light then either .

I think it’s got better for me, but that’s just in a personal level

Yeah I get where you are coming from. It's part of the reason I stripped my profile back to almost nothing. I don't wanna encourage the chancers

I think that is a genuine issue on this site but people don't understand what swinging is and think this is simply hookup site.

Obviously it is possible to have just Hook Up but on the whole I think a lot of the couples and a high percentage of the women enjoy the social side of things as well. Obviously so do a lot of men but the ones that do well on here are the ones that understand what it's all about.

I think as a result women and couples have got a little bit jaded and single guys especially the decent ones a kind of getting the Brunt of it.

That sums it up nicely for me! Such a shame, I'm sure I've missed out on some decent people over the years due to this.

This has indeed became a hook up site.

Many cpls and singles have moved to meeting in clubs, so they advertise their schedule here and look for like minded club going members.

Very few cpls are interested in socially meeting and playing.

So you get obnoxious replies ,sometimes get blocked and sometimes a dead silence, purely because they can get fun at clubs anyway.

That's one main reason.

Another is some have what we call as Fab Ego. They expect replies in certain way, certain words and have specific rules for meets.

Some even have face pics specifications.

Everyone here is for a cock or a pussy but they don't want to see pics lol

Every women here is born bicurious so they want bifem fun.

Also , the play part has changed too, they start with bifem show and then hubbies have to watch and wank and then the real swap happens.

Very few cpls are interested in social meets, tease ,flirts, cheeky banter, exhibitions etc.

I do think that the people who live close to a club, tend to favour the club scene, so don’t try as hard with using Fab the way it was intended, just use it like an inflated messenger service? Then those of us who live outside of a club catchment area, put more effort into using Fab to meet people

The only thing that’s probably changed is that you’ve gotten older.

It’s like me saying that 23yr olds are unfriendly for no longer want to hang out with me, even though they all did 8 years ago!?

I agree that perhaps more people have joined for quick hook ups aswell.

I do agree with some of the comments about saying a lot of people start off from here meeting but then migrate to clubs and parties.

I've definitely done that and I'm only really here for the forums and messages with people I get on well with.
